- Chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world [1990]
- Has occasional issues with panic attacks just like his brother Jonathan, which they had inherited from their father, Allan. They both appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2001 to talk about it.
- Son born [August 1999]
- Wore a black rubber bracelet for good luck since he was a teenager and still wore when the NKOTB disappeared in 1991-92. It was not known when the bracelet was removed or whether it broke or he got tired of it. The rubber ring was originally used inside toilets and later on in the 1980s they became fashion for boys and girls.
