- He has four sisters: Josette, a teacher, twins Roberta and Paula, and a younger sister. His youngest sister is his mother's daughter from her second marriage. After his mother died, Pacino's father adopted the girl when she was seventeen.
- In 2004 he became the eighteenth performer to win the Triple Crown of Acting.
