- When he was in high school, he was on the Humes High School boxing team.
- In 2002, a re-mixed version of one his more obscure recordings, "A Little Less Conversation", became a dance club hit, and topped the charts in the United Kingdom.
- A little known fact, is that Elvis became friendly with the members of Led Zeppelin during the 1970s. They met on several occassion - Zep' even attended a few of his concerts, and of course had the privilege of sitting in the front row.
- Met Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in 1973.
- He named his favorite films as: _Rebel Without A Cause (1955)_ , A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) and Dirty Harry (1971).
